Upgrading a Windows 10 machine that runs AO

Good afternoon. I have a client that runs AO on a small domain with Server 2012 and Windows 10. There are a few upgrades to Windows 10 in the update queues. Does AO have any problems being on a Windows 10 box that is upgraded to v1803 or v1809? Has anyone done this before? Thanks.

Re: Upgrading a Windows 10 machine that runs AO

Hi @ITWorx_NZ,

Apologies for not getting back to you in time, however in regards to your query, we have seen some components of AO Classic be impacted by the windows update for version 1803. The error we have seen when logging into AO classic is "11/Function argument value type, or count is invalid."

To resolve this issue should it arise is to enable SMB2 on the network. For more information I recommend going through our detailed Knowledge base article, KB0018955 - Errors in MYOB applications after upgrading to Windows 10 build 1803.

Cheers,
