Can a Non Stock Item be dropshipped?

Hi,

Is it possible for a Non Stock Item to be dropshipped? 

I.e. I have created a Sales Order.  Selected PO and Dropship against the line.  Then selected Actions, create PO.  The supplier does not populate against the PO line even though I have added a Supplier to the Non Stock Item.
