Re: will payroll software be updated with JobKeeper functionality?

Hi,

What do I need to do if I had already processed pays and sent to the ATO for the past couple of weeks without creating the new allowance categories to say payments were starting but I will want to claim those periods for JobKeeper? Is there a work around?

Thanks,

Karolina

Re: will payroll software be updated with JobKeeper functionality?

Hi Alan

Do you know if the AccountRight notes are also applicable to AccountEdge users?

Also, our wages are paid monthly therefore April already processed on 15th of month, therefore is it best to put through another $0.01 pay for each eligible employee using the JobKeeper Start FN01 category?

Thank you

Hi @SueO

I believe that MYOB are currently updating their step-by-step notes for AccountEdge, but the theory is the same.

Hi @DeeY

These links worked for me just now...

For MYOB Essentials:

For MYOB AccountRight:

"A business intending to use STP enabled payroll software with JobKeeper functionality:
info By 30 April Update each eligible employee in software and lodge via STP enabled software" from ATO

Re: will payroll software be updated with JobKeeper functionality?

Hi @DeeY

Yes, version 2020.1 of AccountRight will work fine for JobKeeper.  Just follow the notes from MYOB.

This does not answer the question asked. Yes, it is an answer, but not an answer to the question asked.
