HOW DO YOU RECORD ANNUAL LEAVE WHEN USING THE GOVT SUBSIDY TO PAY IT

I have an employee who has excess annual leave and would like to be paid 40 hours using his annual leave. How do I record this using the govt subsidy of $585.80 to contribute towards this payment as well as reducing his total hours for annual leave. He will be on annual leave for another 6 weeks. Thanks

Re: HOW DO YOU RECORD ANNUAL LEAVE WHEN USING THE GOVT SUBSIDY TO PAY IT

Hi @DNRS

Is this a cashout of annual leave? I don't think you can use the subsidy to cash out annual leave, however if your employee is away on annual leave, then the subsidy can be used to fund this. I would pay the annual leave, and the subsidy - then show a negative amount against the top up code as "adj to subsidy" Alternately manage the record for the subsidy manually as in this case the annual leave balance needs to be correct.
