Hi, I am having trouble rolling over to the new financial year. The error message is as follows : "An application operation has timed out. Would you like to retry the operation?"
I have tried to do it a number of times, always when noone else is signed in.
I have been able to do it for a smaller company we have in a separate file so thought maybe the file was too big.

Out of curiosity, does this happen straight away or after say a minute or 2?
If this happens straight away, I've seen this be thrown when external software interrupted the operation which can be solved by either setting the exclusions in the software or temporarily disabling these to see if these were the problem. Thanks for that, sounds like it's having a hard time completing the operation then. Something that can help is extending the Timeout period in AccountRight. I have sent you a Private Message with these instructions, you can check your Private Messages by clicking onto your Avatar in the top right and clicking the envelope.
Alternatively, you could also check out the company file to work offline so it's a bit faster and then check back in once the changes are made. See: Work offline (checking out and checking in)
