Credit Card expired, new card issued by bank - AccountRight

Our Credit Card expired, and we have been issued a new credit card by our bank.

Card number remains the same. Expiry date is changed, 3 digit code on back is changed. We have numerous payments set up as direct debits from this card.

Will MYOB still recognise this card as the same card - Will my transactions and direct debit payments be recognised as the same account and still be in my current credit card bank feed?

Do I need to make a new Credit Card account?

Re: Credit Card expired, new card issued by bank - AccountRight

Hi @SusieExpTech

I’d recommend updating your payment profile on my.MYOB under My Account >> Payment Profiles. This will allow you to update the details with the new expiration date to ensure that we have the latest payment details on file to avoid there being any issues with your subscription payments.

In terms of bank feeds, as long as the underlying credit card account was the same then you shouldn’t need to do anything with regards to the new card. If the bank had set this card up as a new account then you would need to set up a new bank feed for it, which would include setting up a new account inside your company file

Regards,
Neil
