Update Event

We changed our MYOB software during the year.  I have finalised my STP reporting for the year and when our employees look at their income report it shows one that is tax ready and one that is not tax ready.  The not tax ready reports covers the period using the old software and the tax ready report covers the whole year.  How do I get rid of the not tax ready figures?  If this is something I should have corrected at the time of installing the new software why are there no instructions to do so at that time?

In order to remove the figures from the old program, you would need to first zero out the pay history for all employees paid in this payroll year and then record a zero dollar pay. This will create an update event so that you can report to the ATO the updated payroll figures of zero
