I have a client that has a large out of balance amount in the 'Payables with tax report' on the browser version of MYOB Account Right, but when I print the 'Payables Reconciliation (summary) report' from the Desktop version of the software there is no out of balance amount. Can you please advise why this occurs and how to rectify it in the browser version of the software?

Hi @KimC
Browser functionality is limited. That said, I suggest you generate the same report in the Desktop - the issue might be in your file. You should compare the Payables with Tax from browser with Payables with Tax from desktop.

Thanks Gavin. Hopefully MYOB will respond, as I don't think it is a problem with the data file as the out of balance amount does not occur in the desktop version. I have noticed this happen occassionally in other client files.

Hi @KimC
I agree - if the Payables with Tax report generated in the desktop version is different to the Payables with Tax generated in the browser, then MYOB needs to address the discrepancy - perhaps tag a moderator @Tracey_H @Steven_M
Note that you cannot compare the Payables with Tax with the Payables Reconciliation Summary as these report different things.

Hi @KimC
On the Community Forum, we encourage users to offer advice and assistance, as such, you won't always receive an immediate response from an MYOB Moderator, so thanks for your patience on this.
We have been made aware of a situation that does impact the Payables with tax report - if there is an order with a credit note applied to it then converted to invoice/purchase, it can cause the browser to show a false out of balance.
As we are still implementing all the features in the browser version, certain processes can only be done in the desktop app, so until this gets fixed the workaround would be to only export that report from the desktop version.
