STP Finalisation Report

Hi Team,

My probelm is that the STP figure for one employee is not matching the payroll activity summary. I was able to fix 2 employees by processing a $0 payrun however this 1 employee doesnt seem to work. 

Could you please suggest any other methods to help fix this issue?

Hello @LinhD ,

Check that your YTD Verification Report (from the EOFY Finalisation tab in Payroll Reporting Centre) and payroll Register report are the same. Well done on doing $0 pays for all employees to update YTD amounts in the verification report.

If there is still a discrepancy, you need to find out which payroll category is causing the out of balance. Check that all categories have been set up correctly and assigned the correct 'ato reporting category' (under payroll > Payroll Categories). Check for any Payroll Category that has been ticked to be exempt from PAYG. If it has, it will not show on your YTD verification report. If that payroll category is reportable, then untick 'exempt from PAYG'. then do $0 pays to update the YTD amounts.
