URGENT STP FINALISATION ERROR

After 4 weeks of being promised that a payroll specialist will contact me to log in via Team Viewer , I am still waiting!!!! With 20 years of bookkeeping experince, this is by far the worst experince I have had and my goodness, my client and I have had enough.

 

Multiple MYOB reps have tried 'assisting' and even they give up and fob me off.

 

I need a senior team member to contact me immediately please! I and your MYOB reps have tried all the usual tricks in the book to get the STP reports to balance. There is obviously a tecnhical error and instead of me spending hours and hours charging the client and gong around in circles, it is time for a senior MYOB member to respect my time (and my clients) and show me the courtesy of some assistance.

 

I have not yet finalised STP and the employee in question has somehow gone ahead and lodged her return with incorrect figures!

 

Can I please get some contact from a senior MYOB team leader that is going to assist with me this problem!!

Hope you get the assistance you need - and yes there are a number of issues in the back end for MYOB's STP.

 

Common misconception is that an Income Statement must show Tax Ready before it can be used. This is not the case, an employee can lodge their tax return using a Not Tax Ready Income Statement and they can change the figures they use in their tax return. Using a Not Tax Ready Income Statement simply increases the risk that the figures might be incorrect and that an amendment may be required.

 

Even a Tax Ready Income Statement is not always correct - as many MYOB users are now finding out.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble getting help with resolving this. I've had a look at the information provided in your earlier post and the one thing that you haven't mentioned is if the Payroll activity and Payroll register reports match. Based on what you have said I suspect the employee's Pay history may be the problem.

 

If those reports don't match this post, Payroll activity and Payroll register reports are not the same, has detailed information to resolve this.

 

If they are can you confirm that you have processed a $0 pay with payment date as 30 June for that employee. Can you also send me screenshots of the Payroll activity detail, register detail and Summary of payments report for that employee in a private message.
