Thanks for getting in touch with us. I've checked API Sandbox Demo 17 for you and you are correct, it looks like someone had pass-worded it. I have since removed this, so you should now have no trouble accessing the file.

Hi Neil,

 

This is for the AccountRight Live API sandbox account.

(My account is on my.myob.com.au as we're developing for an Australian client)

I would expect that the only people with permission to change that password is the API team.

 

I'll flick them an email via the contact page just in case.

Welcome to the MYOB Community Forum, I hope you find it a great resource.

 

If you were once able to get in and now the same details are no longer letting you in, then it would suggest that those details are no longer correct.

 

I would start by getting in contact with anyone who may have the ability to change the Administrator password to see if anyone has changed the administrator password. Assuming it has been changed then you will need to either change it back to no password or use the new login details to adjust your development so that it can login once again.

 

Alternatively, if there has been no change to the login details then I recommend contacting our developer support team, who will be able to assist you. You can do this by filling in the form on the contact page of our developer resources

API Sandbox Demo 17 - Administrator login incorrect

This morning when attempting to sign into the company file I get "The ID or password you entered is incorrect. Please try again"

 

I'm using Administrator without a password as described in the API Overview/Headers document (and it has been working fine for the last two weeks)

 

I've tried with both my API application and with the MYOB AccountRight desktop application. Both give the same error.

 

Is it possible that someone has inadvertantly changed the administrator password?

How do I get back in to continue my development testing?
