Re: Convert order to invoice

Yeah for that you'd need the UID

Re: Convert order to invoice

I don't think it can be used.  Not for converting an order to an invoice.

Re: Convert order to invoice

Hi there

It can be used, however the DisplayID is not immutable and could be changed in the AccountRight Application by a user at anytime.

This is why GUID's were introduced as a non-changing unique identifier.

Re: Convert order to invoice

@KeranM it's not what the documentation say.

http://developer.myob.com/api/accountright/v2/sale/invoice/invoice_service/

  • DisplayIDString (15)
  • Customer contact Card ID, can also be used as a unique customer contact identifier.

Re: Convert order to invoice

Hi there

Yes the API would need the GUID's for the entries as these are the unique identifiers

Re: Convert order to invoice

You may also want to know in order to change an order to an invoice you need to supply the customer's UID not just the DisplayID  and it needs to be the same.

Re: Convert order to invoice

Got it thanks.  Just for clarity if someone else hit this.  You add the order UID into the Sale/Invoice.

Re: Convert order to invoice

Yes you can, you need to submit the details as an invoice using http://developer.myob.com/api/accountright/v2/sale/invoice/invoice_service/ and ensure you link it to the ORDER
