Custom fields of customer getting cleared with PUT API

Custom fields of customer getting cleared with PUT API

we got customer card, with customFields 1,2& 3 set

in attempt to update few other fields of customer, with following details, customFields got empty.

  1. How can i avoid getting customFields cleared in mentioned situation?
  2. A cms with 1000's of contacts, linked with MYOB file via api, while expoting contacts from CMS to MYOB, via api , we can't do this, first fetch then post/put for every contact. is there alternative for that?
