Re: Data Mapping from ODBC driver to AccountRight V2 API

Hi there

No, there is no automated mapping. V19 and AccountRight are two different systems that store and manage data in different ways. AccountRight Live provides an API that follows the user interface, while v19 ODBC simply allowed access to underlying data tables.  There is not a 1:1 relationship mapping for these.

The full documentation for both is available on http://developers.myob.com and there are 3rd party solutions that help with some of this:

https://www.myob.com/au/addons/listing/132/odbclink/

https://www.myob.com/au/addons/listing/297/odbc-writenow/

We'd recommend connecting with our team developers@myob.com to learn more

Cheers

It's okay. If the documentation does not exist then the path is clear but not desirable. We will compare data entities from the old version to the new to try and work out data mapping. After doing a few it is becoming less and less of an issue.

Data Mapping from ODBC driver to AccountRight V2 API

The API for these are quite different. Does anyone have any resources on data mapping from the old entities to the new?
