Re: Filter startswith is acting case sentive.

Hi there

I've just performed some quick tests and I can confirm that

/Contact/?$filter=Type eq 'Customer' and startswith(LastName,'xxx')

and

/Contact/?$filter=Type eq 'Customer' and startswith(LastName,'Xxx')

both return the same result set.

If you continue to have issues, feel free to drop some details through to us on developers@myob.com with the request headers and we can take a look

Hope that helps

Filter startswith is acting case sentive.

Have just been bringing an application we have up to date agains Account right 2016.1.

When I submit a query against the LastName field for, in this case Customer records, it is acting case sentive.

As in a query like

$filter=Type eq 'Customer' and starstwith(LastName,'xxx')

My reading and understanding is that 'startswith', and 'endswith' filters are not supposed to be case sensitive queries.

Or am I missing something????
