Hi TungNguyen,

The best way to do this is to simply ask the user. Once you get the response you redirect them accordingly.

Check out this blog post by Keran. I think it will be hugely helpful.http://myobapi.tumblr.com/post/112476915114/woocommerce-myob-essentials

Cheers.

MYOB Essentials API - after authentication step, how do i get the user region

Hi everyone,

I am developing a MYOB integration application which talks to MYOB essential API. My customers can use MYOB AUS or NZ versions.

My question is after a user give permission to the app (authentication step), how do I get region of a user. There are 2 endpoints for AU and NZ, what should i do to pick the correct URL

https://api.myob.com/au/essentials/businesses
https://api.myob.com/nz/essentials/businesses

So if the client is using MYOB AUS, it will pick https://api.myob.com/au/essentials/businesses. If the client is using MYOB NZ, it will pick https://api.myob.com/nz/essentials/businesses

I need to know the region so I can calculate the GST correctly.

Is there anything like

https://secure.myob.com/oauth2/v1/region

And I can send the access code along to get the user region?

Thanks,

Tung
