Re: Receive the developer inactive error

Hi there Wing

Thanks for the note. We've solved this with you in your direct support tickets.

For those reading this, Developer Inactive is one of the following:

  • You are passing an invalid API Key in your API calls
  • You've requested a key over your limit and we have not yet activated it
  • You are passing a truncated key in your API calls
  • You are not passing an API key in your call

The steps to resolve are:

  • check that your API key is correct in your headers
  • check that your headers are sending the right format x-myobapi-key
  • Is this a key over your allowed key limit (email the key to with a use case so we can activate it for you)

If you continue to have issues and get Developer Inactive, drop a note to with the full HTTP Request Headers, Response headers and JSON body for the call

Receive the developer inactive error

Hi Support,

why would I just be getting the "Developer Inactive" error whenever I try to do anything?  I have the access token and refresh tokens all working so should be valid, that error gives me no idea of what's wrong and it doesn't appear to be documented.

Please advise.
