AccountEdge Pro and Network Edition Oct Tax Table Release

Hi everyone,

The new Australian PAYG tax tables (applicable from the 13 October 2020 onwards) is now available for you in the latest version of AccountEdge v18.6. You will need to update your software by the 16th of November 2020 to implement these changes to your payroll.

The installers are available from my.MYOB. And detailed installation instructions are available in the AccountEdge v18.6 Release Notes.

To check that you've installed the latest update, go to the Help menu >About AccountEdge and check that the Build Number is 23.1.5A.

After installing this update, you need to load the latest tax tables by going to the Setup menu and choosing Load Payroll Tax Tables.

To check if your tax tables have been loaded in your file, go to the Setup menu and choose Payroll Information. The Tax Table Revision Date needs to be 13/10/2020.

Note: AccountEdge v18.6 is not compatible with Catalina.

Cheers,
Suja Pillai

Re: AccountEdge Pro and Network Edition Oct Tax Table Release

Hi Suja,

Thanks for that.

Did you mean Build Number 23.1.5A (not 23.14.5A)?

I hope the answer's yes, otherwise I'm in trouble.

Re: AccountEdge Pro and Network Edition Oct Tax Table Release

Hi there,

I have AccountEdge Pro and v18.6 and my revision date is 1/7/20.

Does this mean I need to install v18.6.1?

Re: AccountEdge Pro and Network Edition Oct Tax Table Release

My AccountEdge pro account is showing 23.1.0J.  When I went to upgrade the company file, It says i'm using the latest update, so won't allow me to go any further.

Also, I am unable to load the latest payroll tax tables, i'm assuming because of this?  Any ideas on how to fix this?

I mustn't have updated tax tables for some time, as it's saying the current loaded tax tables are dated 1/7/14, and the tax tables dated 1/7/18 have been downloaded for me to load, but it won't let me stating "tax tables can be loaded once a new payroll year is started".!

Ideas?

Re: AccountEdge Pro and Network Edition Oct Tax Table Release

Hi @jkbrewer

It sounds like you are on an older version of the software and would first need to download and install AccountEdge 18.6.1 before you can load to those tax tables. I would recommend checking out the Release Notes in regards to installing AccountEdge 18.6.1. Once you have that version installed, you would be able to upgrade the file and select to load the latest tax tables into that company file.

Kind regards,
Steven

Re: AccountEdge Pro and Network Edition v18.6.1 installer not there ?

Hi,

The installer that usually appears isn't appearing.

(And I use the Network edition, so am especially nervous about trying to install the FileConnect stuff manually.)

Has anybody else got the problem of the installer not appearing?

Thanks
