We have moved from MYOB Account Edge to MYOB Essentials in November 2021.
When our employees look at their Income Statement prefill on the ATO website, there are two amounts. One from Account Edge for July - October 2021 and one from MYOB Essentials for the period 1 July 2021 - 30 June 2022. I have verified these amounts in MYOB and there is a double up for the period July - October 2021. Both of the STP has been finalised already for the 2021/2022 year.
Can I send an update event in MYOB Account Edge with the amounts zeroed out ? I have had a look and cannot see where I can do that.
Thanks for your help.

Hi @Jennielee,
Thanks for reaching out.
That's correct! You'd need to zero out the amounts recorded in the employee's Pay history - in AccountEdge, then process an update event to finalise and push the updated figures ($0) to the ATO.
To zero out the employee's pay history:

Hi @Jennielee,
You can if you'd like, however, only $ values are reported to the ATO, so the hours would not pull across in any case.
Please reach out should you have any further queries on this.

Thank you Sam, that worked. The income from the old MYOB system now shows as zero on ATO website.
However, I accidently sent a STP update event in MYOB for Last Year (2021). Will that cause any problems ?
Thank you,
Jen Nie
