Suggested Upgrade and we wanted to move towards clould

We are presently using MYOB Accounts edge network under MAC platform. Following are the details

Company Name: KAYinvest LLC

In view of the above, we are now intending to move towards Could Platform, we have following concerns which we would like to address before deciding on cloud

  1. The online price of 75$ monthly is this on USD or AUS ?
  2.  Is this per user license access? or can it be used for multiple user
  3.  Can we migrate the existing financial year data of MYOB Accounts edge data towards cloud platform?
  4.  Alternatively, I suppose we could use the opening balance and closing balance and we could start fresh entries in cloud. Please advise your best practice.
  5.  We would like to know whether MYOB still support Client server version or it has moved completely towards cloud.
  6.  Will it support UAE Taxations and does you payroll has UAE regulation or can it be added.

Thank you,

Kind regards

Re: Suggested Upgrade and we wanted to move towards clould

Hi @kayinvest

MYOB caters for Australia and New Zealand customers, so our software are built to meet the regulations and taxation of these two countries only. We currently have no plan in supporting other countries' taxation.

Having said that, there are users from other countries do use our software and make it work for their businesses. If that's also viable for you, please do check out this product comparison page to select a suitable option. Pricing on the page is AUD, please note that $75 monthly for AccountRight Premier is the discounted price for the first 3 months only.

MYOB Business Lite/Pro are web browser only products, AccountRight Plus and Premier have desktop apps (Windows only) as well as the browser option, currently AccountRight desktop apps have more functions than the browser version. AccountRight's interface and functions are similar to AccountEdge, with a range of online services enabled. All of the products mentioned support multi-user access.

If you are moving to MYOB Business then we do provide a migration service with no additional cost, fill in the form and our teams will get in touch. If you are moving to AccountRight, then you'll need to create a new company file, most data types can be exported/imported across, It would be a good idea to start a new file from the beginning of a financial year and only bring the balances across instead of all historical transactions.

I hope this helps. Please feel free to post again if you have any further questions.
