Can't link our Facebook page

Hi, for the past few months we have not been able to link our Facebook page saying "An error has occurred. There has been an error with this website. Please click the Back button on your browser or try going to your web address and logging in again. You may also want to check out the Learning Centre." However I can not see how to do this. Can someone please help.

Hi @MAS16 

 

You can certainly link social network accounts to your Atlas website. This Help article explains the steps in more details: Linking social network accounts to your website.

 

If the error still occurs when adding your Facebook account, could you please try:

- Clear the browser cache then try again. 

- Try using a different browser, such as Google Chrome.

- Is it a Facebook business page? If so, please make sure that it has been published first, then link the personal Facebook account linked to the business page. More details is explained here: Linking your Facebook business page.

Hi Clover,

 

Thank you for getting back to me and yes I have tried all of this over the past few months and again just now and it still is saying there is an error. I was able to log onto Facebook this time which is new however it then poped up with the error notice. We had issues with others being added to our website 3 or 4 times and when they got removed we were no longer on there or able to re add ourselves. I thought it might have been a error all over MYOB however it looks like it could just be us?

We have EXACTLY the same error message and problem. Can't link to our facebook page...but the weirdo ones that used to be there have gone. And no, clearing the cache hasn't solved it.

It's very frustrating isn't it Katrina? I hope this can be resolved soon as it is clearely not a issue that they have tried to fix lately or aware of

Apologies for the delayed response. I have escalated this situation to our developers for further investigation, we'll get back to you when we know more.

 

Just to confirm, when you last tried, the error notice did not occur as soon as you clicked on 'Add another Facebook account'? Did the error appear right after you've logged in to your Facebook account?

Thanks for getting back to me and yes straight after I click on add a Facebook account. I have tried 3 more times today and same message.

This issue is with the developers who are working on resolving it at the earliest. I will post an update as soon as it is fixed.
