Email forwarding not being sent to my yahoo.com account

Hi, i have tried to send an email from my Atlas site as a customer but even though it's setup to forward to an external yahoo.com account i don't receive any mail?

Thanks for the help.

Hi @ThorInd,

 

I've just sent a test email to the forwarding email address you've created - sales@thorixxxxxxxxx.co.nz, which has been forwarded successfully.

 

If you log in to your Atlas website, go to Site Settings > My Email Address, you can see the 'Last email forwarded' time has been updated. I've also sent a test enquiry using the 'Send an email' button on the website, you shall receive that also.

 

If you are going to send test email again, please make sure to send from a different email address than the email address it's being forwarded to.

Thanks for the reply. So far i have not received one email from sales@thorindustries.co.nz in my yahoo account thorindustries@yahoo.com. I did see the last email forwarding time but nothing coming through. I'm confused?

Hi @ThorInd,

 

The emails are being forwarded without issue from the Atlas end, however depending on the security settings of your email service provider, the forwarded emails may be blocked, or marked as junk/spam.

 

As far as I know, Yahoo blocks all incoming emails without the sender email. Please change your Contact Us email address, and the forwarding email address to a different provider like Gmail, Hotmail etc, you shall receive the forwarded emails then (may still need to check the Junk/Spam folders).
