Important information on MYOB Atlas

Hi Everyone

Ten years ago, MYOB introduced MYOB Atlas - a web hosting and domain management solution that allowed businesses in Australia and New Zealand create an online presence. A decade on, and the landscape of web hosting has markedly changed. Small businesses now need specialised providers who can provide eCommerce and other digital platform integrations, such as social media. 
 

 

As MYOB Atlas no longer provides online SMEs with the growing capability they need from their website hosting solution, we have made the decision to conclude MYOB Atlas services.  

 

What does this mean for you?  

As a result of this decision, we would like to advise that your MYOB Atlas account will be closed from 5.00PM AEST, Friday 30th September 2022 

 

It’s important to note that if you do not take any action, from this date your website will no longer appear on the internet and your access to the MYOB Atlas account management will be cancelled, meaning you will no longer be able to log in. 

 

Fees & charges: From 1st October 2022, you will no longer be charged for this service.  If you are on an annual subscription, we will refund you any unused monthly charges. 

 

What you will need to do 

If you would like your website to continue to appear on the internet, and use the same domain name and email addresses, it is important that you transition your website hosting, domain name management and email configuration, to a new provider prior to Friday 30th September 2022.  

 

To make this transition easier for you, we have partnered with GoDaddy, who are the world’s number one web hosting company.  

 

The team at GoDaddy are ready to help you with your domain and hosting transition from MYOB Atlas, and you can reach them between 9.00am – 7.30pm, Tuesday to Friday (AEST) on:

When speaking to the GoDaddy team, be sure to mention you are an MYOB Atlas customer and the team will work with you to organise the transition of your details. 

 

Alternatively, there are a variety of options on the market who can provide you with easy-to-use templates to transition your website to a new provider.

Hi Everyone

 

The MYOB Atlas website hosting and domain management product was closed on 30 September 2022.

After 1 October 2022, you will no longer be billed for this product and credits for all annualised payments, including domain registrations will be organised (pro rata) as of 1 October 2022.

We still have a little work to do to shut down the technical infrastructure and in fact, you may find your website and email will work for a short period of time. However, without any further notice, it will be shut down and your website will no longer appear on the internet and your access to the MYOB Atlas account management site will be cancelled. If you have not done so already, we strongly encourage you to transition off the MYOB Atlas products as soon as possible and transfer your domain registration to another provider.
