SSL certification

Please can you provide MYOBAtlas websites with an SSL certificate. This is of utmost importance in gaining trust and sales from potential customers visiting an MYOBAtlas website - much potential revenue is lost without it, markedly lowering the viabiity of operating a business from an MYOBAtlas website. A lot of potential customers don't get to the point of seeing that checkout is secure because they leave the site before then due to the Not Secure notification appearing when first visiting an MYOBAtlas site.

Thanks for your feedback. MYOB Atlas will automatically use an https connection when you are logged into the Atlas site through the Sign In option in the bottom right-hand corner of the site. If you’re viewing or accessing the site without being signed in then it will connect using an http connection.

 

For customers, the https protocol will be used when they have to make some payments from the website as the merchant's SSL certificate is used. 

 

 Currently, there's no way to change the default protocol used when viewing the site, however, we've passed on your feedback to the product development team.

Hi Komal,

 

I am aware that once a customer gets to the payments page that it is secure. However, my point is that many people would not even get that far because when they initially see the Not Secure notification on first visiting the site they are quite likely to leave the site and never return to it which is not good for business.

Thanks for your additional feedback on this. I understand your concerns but we do not have immediate plans of implementing this in the Atlas websites. I will however pass this on to the relevant teams.
