Essentials to Business Pro bank reconciliations

Since the "upgrade" our bank transactions (across several accounts and many years back to 2018) are a nightmare.

The reconciliation process has been corrupted.  I have undone and re-reconciled one particular account back to 2018 at least 4 times. 

Some of the errors include:

(1) When completing the reconciliation for a period there are missing transactions (in comparison to paper bank statement) so you "create transactions" to enable the period to balance

(2) When you attempt complete the reconciliation for the following period, the original transactions suddenly appear.  So then you have to undo the previous reconciliation and delete the newly created replacement transactions, redo that reconciliation before moving forward to the next one. That is ONE ISSUE.

 

(3) Transactions that have been reconciled in previous periods and can be seen as being included in the reconciliation appear as unreconciled transactions and follow you to each months reconciliation there after.  I have 3 of these transactions that appear as outstanding from 2019 but I can see them in the reconciliation report as having been reconciled. That's the SECOND ISSUE.

 

(4) The 3rd issue is the bank balance in the Balance sheet gets progessively more out of balance the more reconciliations you complete for each bank account.  That's the THIRD ISSUE.

 

An accounting system that is not accurate is absolutely useless.  Central to accurate records with integrity is having bank accounts that balance.

 

When are these issues going to be fixed?  This is really serious.
