MYOB AR 2022.7 - Error Message

I am getting following Error Message everytime I open Online company file and once click OK, file will open.

We have multiple companies under one licence and this Error message is appearing when I open any company file.

I called MYOB team twice before but of no help. Error message still continue.

 

Error

Unable to automatically confirm your company file.

You may not be connected to internet or your computer Firewall may not allow online confirmation. We recommend you try confirming your company file by phone.

We are currently investigating the cause of some customers not being able to activate or confirm their company file online.

It was a Firewall issue blocking MYOB software.

I enabled MYOB on Firewall and it's working fine now.

I hope issue is resolved now.

Hi MYOB Team,

 

Today same Error message is appearing when I open MYOB company files. I checked my Firewall settings and it is okay allowing MYOB.

 

There seems to be MYOB software problem. Online verification is also not working. Phone call verification takes hours to reply. Please advise us how to resolve this problem.

Hi @GirishA 

 

If it is being blocked by the firewall, I can prompt the confirmation from my end. To do this can you send me a Private Message with the following:

  • Account name (usually the name of your business)
  • Serial number (this can be found under Setup > Company Information)
  • Product and build (this can be found under Help > About MYOB Accountright)
  • Company file ID (also found in the about section)

As I mentioned earlier, MYOB is not blocked by Firewall and still problem continues.

It looks like MYOB software related problem.

Great to hear you've already checked your firewall. To assist you further I will still need some more details from you:

  • Account name 
  • Serial number (just the last 4 digits)
  • Product and build
  • Company file ID
