Unable Delete Bank Import

I have followed the instructions for deleting a bank import but the message "Something went wrong. Please try again or refresh" continues to appear.

The entries are not reconciled.

There is no lock period.

Welcome to the Community Forum. 

 

Have you tried deleting the imported bank statement in another web browser or in Google Chromes incognito mode?

 

Can you please also double-check that you are deleting it following the following steps:

 

  1. From the Banking menu, choose Bank transactions.
  2. Click Import statements. The Bank statement import history page appears.
  3. Choose the Bank account the statement was imported into.
  4. Click the delete icon for the statement you want to delete.
  5. At the confirmation message, click Delete. The statement is deleted, and the bank transactions are removed from MYOB.

If you are still getting the error while attempting in another browser can you please attach a screenshot of this.

Hi Chris,

 

I am still not able to  delete tha bank imports; either I get to the confirm delete pop-up and click delete, only for nothing to happen to the file (even after refreshing etc) or it brings up the attached error.

Sorry for the delay in my response. 

 

Have you managed to resolve this? 

 

If still having the issue of being unable to delete the bank statement when using another web browser can you please send me the console log. 

To get the console log you will need to do the following: 

  • Right-click on the Chrome window and choose Inspect
  • Choose the console tab
  • Right-click and choose Clear Console

  •  

     Repeat the action that causes the error/issue. Any errors within the logs will be recorded in the red error text

     

  • Save the error log by right-clicking on the Console tab and choosing Save As, to save the entire log to a .txt file
