this new update is an absolute nightmare. almost all our part numbers when i try to do an invoice says error and wont allow me to continue and the reporting is so painful.
why did they change this it is now so much worse than before

I'm sorry to hear you're not liking the newer MYOB Essentials platform. So that I can assist with your invoicing issues can you please provide details and screenshots of the errors you're getting.
With regard to reporting, if you can let me know what reports you're wanting to run I'll be happy to help with that.

the above is just 1 example. we have over 1500 items and i DO NOT WANT to have to put all the prices and descriptions in again as that would tale a week or more.

Thanks for that screenshot. We can see that error if the linked account for receivables is missing in the file.
To check the linked receivables account
Once that's done, save the changes and let me know if you still get the same error.

i cant understand this at all. it is already set to accounts receivable.
when i put our part numbers in doing an invoice some part numbers come up with the description price and sales account and others dont work and show that erorr message in screen shotted.
i am terrbly dissapointed with this new update and have loads more issues but havent got all day to try and wotk in out when i am running a business.
is there a way i can go back to the version before as it was so easy and simple and this is not

My accountant spent 45 minutes on hold then finally someone answered only to tell him they will transfer the call and then he was cut off.
why in hell did MYOB do this terrible update with no help from your so called customer service.

Thanks for checking that and letting me know when the error occurs. I've run a diagnostic check on your file and found duplicate items in the Item register which were causing that error. I've run a script to fix that so you shouldn't have any further problems creating invoices. Please let me know how you go.
