This Upgrade is a disgrace - nothing works like it should anymore.
Small businesses dont have time to work through the glitches and changes
TOOOO much has changed at once nothing works like it did this is my take so far after a week (more to come I am sure)
I know this all semms petty but add it all up and its a nightmare and time waisting effort to do a basic task
The reason I liked essentials is that was small business friedly and we did not need to be numbercruching accountants to manage the system and our businesses.
and on and on and on
I can't beleive you have done this upgrade to yourselves and to all of us.
It is a big commitment for us to change after 8 years but I am seriously wondering what I can do the system aboslutely SUCKS we all hate it - change is difficult I know but its harder when you are thrown under a bus.

Yep - It sucks. Ours was just upgraded.
Transactions used to offer the best match - now we need to go hunting. You used to be able to see the tray files now they are just small blobs. You used to be able to view the tray documents in browser - now it downloads the file (um i dont need another copy and it is just added steps).
The transactions dont dissappear when you are done with them like they used to. So now you are still looking at dealt with transactions until you refresh the page.
The whole platform is a lot slower and seems needlesly complex compared to the original platform.

And there has been NO response whatsoever from MYOB other than sending links to help articles which are no help at all.
I agree re the transactions. What a nightmare to look at! It gives me a headache AND I'VE BEEN DOING THIS ADMIN AND BOOKKEEPING WORK FOR OVER 20YEARS! Absolute DOWNgrade. dreadful.

And there's no response from MYOB to this post? I can't edit bills. I can't delete bills. I can't add documents to them. It's just hopeless.

Also, a very lovely myob moderator did get back to me on some issues today,
and she advised the following:
"On the Community Forum we encourage users to offer assistance and advice. As such, you won't always receive a reply from an MYOB Moderator. If you require immediate assistance we recommend reaching out to our phone-based or Live Chat teams."
Which makes sense... it is a community forum after all...
But thats really weird how you can't edit any bills in the new myob. Might be worth giving them a call regading that one...

Yes. Even when they are in the in tray. I have been using essentials since 2017. I was told by MYOB on their live chat that I would be able to add them to new documents I create but even that is hit and miss. It keeps saying Network Error. Or that it can't processed now.

Hahahaha! Give them a call. lol! I have called and done the online chat mulitple times and have recieved very little help. Waited for 70 minutes on the live chat this morning before being disconnected. I'm up to 70 minutes on hold on a phone call right now. Maybe I'm the only one having these problems? Thought the community forum would be a good place to work that out. As far as my experience goes since the upgrade, it's a sinking ship. Best to get off as soon as you can. Has your essentials been upgraded yet? If so, have you had any problems?

Yeah i understand! Oh yes we were upgraded on the 1/2. MANY MANY problems... i've done several posts! I have not had any trouble with entering bills however, only hating the new interface, it's so narrow and hard to see everything, i HATE scrolling across screens when entering data, leaves too much room for error!
Bank balances all out
double up transactions being pulled through
payg all out of whack
etc etc etc
Dreadful "upgrade!" But boss won't let me move to Xero or anything else so i'm just going to have to live with it and hope they fix it all soon...
