NEW UPDATE

I AM VERY FRUSTRATED WITH THE NEW UPDATE THAT MYOB HAS RELEASED.

I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND THAT SYSTEMS REQUIRE TO BE UPDATED, BUT DID THEY REALLY HAVE TO CHANGE EVERY ASPECT OF THE PROGRAM.

I HAVE MADE MY WAGE PAYMENTS EXACTLY THE SAME WAY HAS I HAVE DONE EVER SINCE USING MYOB ESSENTIALS AND NOW CAN NOT ALLOCATE MY BANK TRANSFER FOR WAGES TO THE MATCHING TRANSACTION.

IS ANYONE ELSE FINDING THE NEW UPDATE TO BE NOT USER FRIENDLY.

Re: NEW UPDATE

Hi @DLUX1

If your employees have Electronic selected as the Payment method in their employee card, the process for electronic payments has changed in the newer MYOB Essentials platform as we've added the ability to pay suppliers electronically. You will now need to set up and process Prepare electronic payment transactions. Once you have processed the electronic payment you match the electronic payment transaction to the bank transaction.

These Help Articles have detailed information on electronic payments:

Paying suppliers and employees electronically

Setting up electronic payments

Making electronic payments

As MYOB Business/Essentials is a new product I'd also recommend going through these Help Articles:

Check your MYOB business after upgrading

Learn about general feature changes after upgrading

Learn about payroll changes after upgrading

Post-upgrade payroll tasks

Please let me know if you need further help.
