MYOB Invoices (app): Quotes

Hi,

Have read other messages here suggesting adding Quotes to the App.  I have just started using MYOB and would like to know if the Quoting feature could be applied to the Andriod App for "Essentials".

Being able to quote a client on the spot and then sending it on to them via email would be fantastic. Of course accessing it once job is completed and turning into an Invoice would also be fantastic.

Thank you for your idea in regards to MYOB OnTheGo for Essentials and quotes.

Currently you can only create invoices via MYOB OnTheGo. I would encourage other users that would like to see OnTheGO have the ability to do quotes to vote for this idea and comment if required

What era are we living in when we purchase a reputable online product such as myob on the go that cannot simply produce a quote on the go prior to client accepting the job? 

I am pretty sure a vast majority of people in the world get a price prior to accepting any trade  or deal so without a laptop in the car that includes a 12v to 240v inverter etc etc the on the go app is good for taking payment when tour out of the office or sending a bill when you've finished the job.

Thank you for your feedback in regards to this idea.

Currently the MYOB OnTheGo app is designed to be used in on the road and invoice clients. The option to allow the creation of a quote is what this idea has been offered for.  Personally I can see benefit with this idea and would allow more clients to gain further opportunities to grow their business by being on mobile.

The idea is currently marked as Under Consideration. At this time we do encourage clients to vote and comment for this idea we do haven't a time frame for when this idea will be placed into development.

Hi guys, 

As most of the MYOB Essentials customers, i use MYOB OnTheGo on my smart phone (with card reader) to make my day to day running of a mobile business easier. 

There are however some serious features which is lacking in the current version of the OnTheGo app:

1. You can Invoice but not make a Quote? You can also not change a quote made into an invoice. This is a pretty basic feature which i would have never believed was not already implemented in your first ever release. 
2. To be able to record expenses as you go. This is also one of those moments when using the app where you realise how restrictive the app really is. For an app that is called OnTheGo you would think recording simple receipts etc would be pretty standard. 
3. Cannot update suppliers on the go, or create them. That is also a little disappointing. 

Other comparable solutions on the market has this down pat already. I do understand that the OnTheGo app was created to be simple, but as it is right now it is simple to its own detriment, I do hope that the features i listed above is on the way and already in the pipeline as the product as it is today is not very handy at all, as i still have to go back to the office and do a lot of the work. Especially having to go back to the office or pull out my laptop to create a simple quote when onsite with the customer is something I would like to see ASAP.

This is a huge plus for MYOB, as the competition already offer this. MYOB OnTheGo is a second rate solution at the moment, as the need to give a quote, convert a quote to invoice is quite basic requirements.

Dear MYOB,

I think this app missed the point if it cant complete the full sales cycle, especially considering apps are intended for mobile devices where the majority of users are offsite...

I would love to have the option to quote, it would save us significant time in double entering, follow ups reaction time and would be an excelent tool for our sales rep's.
