Purchases: Ability to generate a purchase order

LiveAccounts is a great package for small businesses and we love it.

One additional  feature will make it an awesome product: The ability to raise purchase orders then convert them to payable invoices once received.

Thank you for your feedback and voting for this idea.

At this stage we don't have a direct time frame for when this idea will be placed in development and included in the program. However we are are still encouraging clients that would like to see this idea included to vote and comment if required.

I definitely need to be able to do Purchase Orders. In my old job I used Account Right but now I have my own business which is much smaller so we just have Essentials, I didn't realise it didn't have PO's.

Please implement ASAP it is an essential feature for us!

I find it amazing that they would launch the product without the ability to create PO's. It cant come soon enough.

Hi,

Please consider adding a purchase order feature. 

By having to raise manual purchase orders outside MYOB this is a time consuming and inefficient process. It leaves open to errors and separate reports on cash and work flow in a small busines.

It doesn't have to be complicated. It would help so many people who have also raised this issue.

Dear MYOB

We are a small business and MYOB Essentials has really made operating the financials of our business easier, however it seems like a big gap in the system that you are not able to generate purchase orders for purchases made. We often get asked by businesses for purchase orders and it would be great if we could do this. Also, it would mean that we could plan purchases in advance by raising purchase orders and then when the payment of the invoice is made it is automatically reconciled in the system.

Raising purchase orders would be a very valuable addition to the MYOB Essentials platform.
