When I demonstrated LiveAccounts early on to an accounting firm I get referrals from the initital response was "What about User Accounts and restricted access"? Any plans on this front?
I really hope that this is sorted out soon. I have a client using Essentials and is generally happy with it but she is about to switch to Xero because she doesn't wish to have her employees able to see her bank details and payroll. I can't believe this hasn't yet been fixed. Can you indicate when this will be rectified - otherwise you will be losing even more customers to Xero because it does what they need.
Furthermore - this is such a basic necessity in an accounting program - why does this need votes? MYOB need to fast track this. People aren't bothering to vote, they are just going to Xero. Unfortunately for my client, she has already purchased Essentials and has been using it for a year. It would be very inconvenient for her to switch, but if this isn't sorted shortly, she will have no choice. Please fix it now MYOB!!!

Voting on the MYOB Essentials gives the team clear numbers of MYOB Community Forum users this along with the comments are a key indicator into the number of members that would like to see an idea included in the future. Currently this idea is under consideration by the team and we can see real potenital for it. At this stage we don't have a time frame for when this idea will be marked for development or implemented however we do encourage clients to vote and comment if required for this idea
I suggest you give restricted access to some users as an option so when my staff are doing our invoices they do not have full access to our P+L and payroll etc.
Wish i had known that this was an issue before i signed up.
