At the moment we have to raise 2 lots of invoices in MYOB. For one part of the busness that uses another logo and template we raise it in MYOB for our records, but then need to duplicate it in another program and then send it. It would be good if MYOB allowed you to set up 2 templates (one for each type of business/logo) and then when raising and sending the invoice allow you to choose the template you wish to send it with. While we like MYOB we are at the point where we think it will be easy to go back to our previous system as this doubles the amount of time we spend on one side of the business adminisration of invoicing.

Would save a lot of work.

"1 business name, 2 different logos - 2 invoice templates"

Hello @AJ1

Thank you for your suggestion, we're always looking to improve workflow in Essentials and would be happy to consider the option to change between the customised invoices.

We encourage any other users that require this feature to comment and vote.

Kind regards,

Kat

I have to send invoices under two different trading names. Just signed up to Essentials assuming this would be possible, and after setting up my business I was very surprised to see it is not yet possible despite being requested by multiple people as far back as 2015 and being an existing feature of AccountRight (so already acknowledged by MYOB as necessary for at least some businesses). I'm going to have to run another invoicing solution alongside MYOB, or move to another product (AccountRight is not an option for me as it's for Windows computers only). Very disappointed. Add another vote from me to implement this ASAP though.

Since account edge is no longer usable it seems essential to offer more than one invoice template in order to cater for those who need this function and have had to change over.  It's going to be extremely confusing to change the template every time an invoice is written or reminder sent.  I've already sent a reminder from the wrong business, which makes our business look unprofessional and makes me look rather foolish

Hi,

I do the books for 1 company that has 3 divisions - I used to be able to create invoice templates and have a different header on each one which I can no longer do in MYOB Essentials.  I would love to see this facility available again.

I can't believe it's only possible to set up one invoice in MYOB Essentials.

Many freelancers such as myself offer more than one kind of service within our business, and we want to tailor our invoices to match the service.

We need to be able to set up separate invoice templates with unique logos and email templates.

Please make this a feature ASAP.

I have just posted the same suggestion, although I note this was suggested in 2015 and has received 44 votes of confidence, yet still nothing has been done. Come on MYOB, make it happen please!

This must be a limitation of Essentials. In the next version up this is not a problem.

I currently use Xero but have been looking at switching to MYOB. Currently setting up MYOB with a trial account and came across this issue. This is a necessary feature for us as we operate multiple brands & trading names within our business (same ABN, books, etc). I think I will  be sticking with Xero for the time being since they've had this feature for years!

I loved MYOB but it failed to deliver on 2 points.  A. We needed multipy templates with multiple logos. B. We were willing to go to the higher level but it didn't support a mac platform.

Which was beyond understandable as this inability to use a mac platform IOS prevents so many people from using MYOB.  So we had to go to Reckon which I dislike but it was our only option at the time.

Under Selling Details, sales layout, be able to select a certain customised template as the default. ie for business who have say 2 different brandings.

This would elimate invoices being emailed or printed with the incorrect template.
