Currently, MYOB Essentials payroll function automatically calculates the PAYG withholding amounts based on the ATO tax tables for full time / part time employees (https://www.ato.gov.au/Rates/Fortnightly-tax-table/). However, there is no inbuilt function to automatically calculate the PAYG withholding for CASUAL employees by reference to the correct ATO casual tax table (https://www.ato.gov.au/Rates/Tax-table-for-daily-and-casual-workers/). This means thousands of small businesses with casual employees are reporting incorrect PAYG withholding amounts (as Essentials is calculated the amounts based on the incorrect tax table). Can you please add a dropdown box in the Employee Profile where the employer can select "Casual" employee, and then have the PAYG withholding calculated from the CORRECT ATO tax table? Hi I am using Myob to keep track of my NDIS support worker wages.  Payroll Item Transaction Report.  The NDIS requires total cost per pay item.  The report gives you a breakdown of gross totals including tax which is great, but I need it to also include super in this report.  I am having to manually calculate the super from other reports taking time and as super changes depending on the employee.  Anyone got any ideas or where do I submitt a feature request.  Paul    "Payroll Item Transaction Report Super in breakdown for NDIS" ... I have just set up 40 Items as part of trialling LiveAccounts. A copy function from an existing Item would save some data entry time. i.e when viewing an item, have a new button called 'Copy Item' adjacent to the 'Save Item' button.   I could have created the data in an external file and imported it, but didn't want to bother getting the format right, or risk doing it incorrectly and have to make the imported data 'inactive' before trying again.   A copy funtion would ensure more consistency when setting up data, such as formatting of item name, unit of measure, descriptions and buy/sell info. ... For contractors their tax type is Withholding Tax instead of PAYE. For all of those paying contractors need the wording on payslip to be changed in this way. For businesses in property management industry like us, we pay all property managers as contractors instead of as employees. So it is quite important for us to be able to change the wording on payslips. As well as the removing Ordinary Time line from it. A basic business process that I think MYOB Essentials should implement functionality for:    When a customer approves a quote, we move it to an 'accepted' status.  Upon completion of the work, we generate an invoice from the accepted quote, but the quote remains as 'accepted' and does not clearly indicate if an invoice has been sent or not without going into each individual accepted quote and reviewing the activity.    It would be helpful to be able to filter or produce a report showing: of the accepted quotes which ones have been invoiced and which ones haven't.  This could be a simple invoiced column with a tick or cross from the quotes page.   Can you give me any tips on how to clean up the 'accepted' quotes?  Ie is there a way to have these automatically close when you generate an invoice from them?   "Accepted quotes change status once invoiced" ...     Our company requires the Sales Report- Customer Payment (Take Payments) report as we contract our services out to several entities and collect payments on their behalf. This means at the end of the month we need a total of payments made (gst incl) in the month so we can transfer this across. Currently the report is only generated as a pdf, however as we have to split the information and require sub totals we need this in an excel format like the other reports. I notice that the Format of Financial Reports in Essentials has changed.   Why the Black Lines?    I see no purpose and it makes reading very difficult.   Bank Accounts are a Current Asset are should be reported under a Current Asset Header. This is a requirement of the AASB (Australian Accountants Standards Board). I understand that Members of a Professional Accountancy Industry body are required to prepare Financial Reports that meet Accounting Standards.   Why would MYOB after 25 years of providing a Balance Sheet format that met Accounting Standards segregate Bank Accounts from Current Assets? I understand MYOB's major competitor also uses the format of segregating Bank Accounts from Current Assets.   During November 2018, I attended a Bookkeepers Meeting hosted by a Bookkeeping Industry Body. There was quite a heated discussion whether the format of excluding Bank Accounts from Current Assets is correct. In Essentials, is it possible to add in the GST settings section, additional tax types for PAYGW, PAYGI and Fuel Rebates?  I feel if would be great if we can tick that the client is registered for these and the fields will then show on the GST report for Activity Statement. I need the paydirect and MYOB pay options to automatically match to my bank feed. At the present the paydirect and MYOB pay options automatically remove the invoice from the bank feed, when trying to allocate the payment I have to match it to an email I receive, I then have to go into each individual invoice, delete the payment and then go back into my bank feed and reallocate it to the invoice which has been paid. This is just double handling and requires a lot of time, I have been asking this questions for 2 weeks now and have only just been given the answer, I now have to delete and resubmit over 100 payments to ensure I can submit my BAS, which is already late. In the Bank Transaction Feed where you have a match for your transaction. Eg the bank transaction date doesn't match the bill payment date. Can the incorrectly dated bill payment that comes up under the match transaction screen be made a hyperlink? so we can go directly the the bill payment instead of having to go back to the Purchases tab and search for the bill and then the payment   "Matched payment hyperlink"     ... Myob need to get perhaps look at allowing zero value invoices for samples perhaps? Rediculous that one has to create one with value then edit it to zero value to be able to do this. Come on guys, you make enough cash to sort this one out.   Another issue. When browsing invoice history or whatever - so you select the reference or supplier column for example, look at a single item, come back to the browse and blow me down you have to reselect the column you were on before. If you manually enter transactions in Spend Money and use a reference other than alphanumeric i.e any symbol, back slash, etc, when you try to allocate Bank Feeds it will cause an error " Reference - must use Alphanumeric". I would like to see the Surname of the Individual Contact as the field that invoices/statements/reports are sorted by, not the first name/Mr/Mrs/initials.  MYOB AccountRight does this no problem.  An example that a client has is Mr John Doe is sorted by Mr.  And they have a lot of Mr's!   "Individual Contact sort by Surname" ...
