I'd like to see some additional fields in the customer card, eg: Email subject line: I have some clients (eg insurance companies) that request a particular reference code (eg case number) in the email subject line for their internal routing. GST included / excluded: It's only a matter of time before I trip up, and charge GST on top for residential customers, or include it for commercial ones. I'd like to set this for each customer. Hi My suggestion is that when I enter a rule for an expense there is nowhere to name it.. Unfortunately I have a page of bill pay numbers and I have no reference to who they are. Can you make a field to name the rule . Just for interest sake I would like to know why this is not already included?. Thanks "Essentials Rule Allocations"

Could the yellow background on boxes requiring input, be givien a darker shade, to make data entry easier - as it's very difficult for me to tell the difference between data fields with white background and those with a very light yellow background (where some input is required). I wear reading glasses and am over 60, so I struggle a bit with small fonts and pastel shades (e.g. those used in forum entry screens, which are light grey on a white background). vcf is a common addressbook card format. It would be great to import vcf's either one at a time or in multiples. Yes I do know about the csv import but that can be tricky to get done right. I have imported my bulk customers and now just have dribs n drabs, I create them in contacts and then have to manually create them in myob essentials... double handling is never good. Once you have attached a document to a Purchase to would be good if you can view that document from a report. Eg - in Purchase History if i look for a specific supplier, it would be good to view the attached document without having to open the specific Bill. Instead being able to open it from the reports page, this would allow me to look through them rather quickly instead of going to a new screen and then back to the report...etc. "Purchase History - view attached document"

Can you make a Save & Add button on the Transfer Money page? 'Transfer money - Save & Add"

Whilst in the take payment screen (Purchases and Sales), if you have just saved an invoice/purchase and make the payment. the dialog box that notifies you that the Invoice/Purchase has been saved is at the top of the screen. This will time out and refresh after a few seconds, however the screen then moves up automatically. The problem is that if you have your mouse hovering over the amount paying, the screen moves up and then you are hovering over the "cancel" button. If you can either make the "Invoice saved" box transparent or locked or not even there so the screen doesnt have to resize it would help alot. "Take Payment screen moves"

When you select "Link to Existing Bill" in the In Tray, the action button should be at the top of the page and not at the bottom or make the header static with the button and document details in there. If MYOB automatically finds the bill you still have to scroll all the way to the bottom to selct OK. "Link Bills to Closed Financial Years"

It it currently very fiddly to enter a transfer between accounts. In Essentials, you cant enter a transfer between bank accounts as a spend money like you can in MYOB AccountRight which would be fine if you didn't have to go to another window completely to manually enter a transfer every time. This process is slow and annoying if you make multiple transfers. Even having the date, amount and bank used bought over when clicking manually create the transfer would be easier than starting from scratch every time, as well as when you hit save it takes you back up to top of the bank feed list, not back to where you were working from. Hello, I was suggest to create an app that allows customers to call some body on voice over IP to a regular phone number like PSTN or Mobile. So basically customers can call customers directly within the MYOB application without having to use an external phone like IP desk phone or mobile to call customers. As a new user of MYOB, it'd be great to have a helper interface that notes fields that are not required to be filled out marked in some way. For example they could be outline in a different colour or have an icon next to them. This interface could then be turned off for advanced users. I'd expect having the default as not highlighting the optional fields. Also in this helper interface, each field could have a tooltip which briefly explains what the field is for and a link for more info which opens in a new window. The Assts list is restricted to current assets and fixed assets There are other categories which need to be in the list as there are assets that are not "current" or Fixed Understanding that this is supposed to be simple software, please add a category of "Other Assets" "Chart of accounts"

Hi there, I would really appreciate it if the "Match to an invoice, expense" on Bank transactions should show an ACTIVE LINK to "Process customer payment" " screen, or to the invoice itself, and therefore the "make a payment" button. I offer a discount to customers who pay invoices in full before a certain date. Often this is fiddly to process as MYOB essentials will often automatically reconcile those transactions, and I have to find them, un-match them, go around to make a payment with discount, come back and match them again. It would be great to be able to send a message to my accountant from within live accounts wherever I am logged in without having to send an email. That way small allocations or issues could be requested right there and my accountant or bookkeeper would be get the messages and be right at the spot to fix it. thoughts? Suggest a flashing warning appear screen appears if a user attempts to process transactions to a date where the "period has been locked down" Last night was trying to process a payrun in MYOB essentials and it would not process the payrun. The below screen just kept processing after about 10 attempts of waiting for nothing to happen.... I started to investigate the settings and realised the file was locked down under the "Business Details" Please vote for this to be implemented it will save other users trying to work this out "Warning that period is locked notifying users"

Can you please move the ADD LINE and DELETE LINE Buttons to an area where they do not take up there own line/space (under where the details and amount is enter or even make them smaller) to move the Details Entry Area up the screen further, which in turn will move the totals etc but particularly the Save, Save & Add Button up so that these buttons appear on the display in front of you and you don't have to keep scrolling down to hit the Save, Save & Add Button, as you need to do this with every transactions but don't use the ADD LINE or DELETE LINE with every transaction. Particularly when working on laptops and smaller screens "Spend Money - MYOB Essentials"

Hi there, It would be great to have a link on any new invoices to take us to any unpayed/unprocessed returns that a customer has. My business works on an earlybird payment discount process, and it would really streamline things if I could see any money owing to them when I am writing invoices. @StevePick Steve seeing that you are the User Experience Designer To save the environment, labels and their cost, we switched to windowed envelopes. The current layout for the payslip prints out the employees Job Title which I'm not sure is neccasary in the address field then you split the State and the Postcode over two lines which makes it hard to line up in the envelope window. It leaves no margin for error in the folding. I propose for the Job Title be moved to underneath the "Paid On:" line or allow the option for it to be omitted in the employee's record? In addition to the above, could we please, please, please move the State and Postcode to be printed on the same line as the Suburb? The current layout would then be a lot more friendlier for use with window faced envelopes. "Payslips - alteration"
