Essentials Upgrade STP 2

Got an email in Debember 2021saying "In early 2022 your MYOB Essentials will be automatically upgraded to a new platform giving you access to new features and improved workflows, including STP 2 reporting." and we are still waiting for the upgrade to happen and MYOB can't seem to give any answers. Is anyone else having trouble getting answers out of MYOB? Its very disappointing!

Hi @kfraz22 

 

If you have received notifications that your file will be migrated but the file has not been migrated it means that it failed the migration process. Our migrations team will continue to attempt the migration. We're not able to provide information on why a file has failed migration or when it will be migrated.

Do you know when the issue is to be resolved? Will it be resolved before the 31st December?

My apologies for the delay in getting back to you. We're not able to provide a timeframe for when a file will be migrated to the new MYOB Essentials platform.

 

However, we’ve been working with the ATO and have been granted an extension to the 1 January deadline, so you'll have time to move to the new platform and begin STP Phase 2 reporting. You now have until 31 March 2023 to report your first STP Phase 2 pay run.

 

We do recommend that users that are upgraded to the newer MYOB Essentials platform transition to STP 2 ahead of the January deadline where possible.
