Hi,
I have matched all reports, run a Verification Report and finalised the Payroll for 2021-22 in MYOB. This was all done on Thursday. However, the employees are getting a message that their Income details for this employer are "not tax ready" when they go to MyGov. If I try to finalise the file again, I am asked whether I want to cancel the previous finalisation and notify the ATO.
How long does it take the finalisation to be updated? Is this an ATO issue?
Thanks.

Hi Alex_Int,
I fixed it in my files by running a zero payroll for all employees dated 30.6.22 (actually entering zero hours etc in, rather than unselecting them from the payroll run), and reported this via STP. It would be rather a laborious process if you have a lot of employees.
MYOB may have a better way of resolving the issue.
Good luck,
Vicki

Thanks Vicki! Did you cancel the EOFY finalisation first, then process the pay run, then resubmit the EOFY report again?

The employee income statement status should change to Tax ready when the finalisation has been completed and the ATO notified. If it hasn't changed you can try un-doing the finalisation then refinalising to push that information through to the ATO again.
Please let me know if you need further help.

Yes, I cancelled the EOFY finalisation first, made sure that all employee and wage fields were correct, then processed the zero payrolls and reported through STP. Once that payroll had been accepted without errors, I went on with the EOFY process. A short time later, I checked my own Income Summary from that employer in MyGov. It was all okay, and Tax Ready.

I am also having the same problem, i have unfinalised, sent a zero pay, but it is still showing as accepted with errors. Many staff have been able to lodge tax returns and get refunds, but i have one EX staff member who is not happy until it says tax ready................................
I really dont want to have to unfinalise and do 0 pay again and refinalise it.

We have the same situation, 70+ employees with only one with the status of 'not tax ready' with the ATO and the rest declared 'tax ready'.
