MYOB Essential - Unused annal leave

Hi,

 

I have competed to pay employees' unused annual leave. but still, the Employee's leave profile shows the full hours of annual leave. 

what I did was 1. create Pay Items for Unused Annual leave n process create pay.

why do the total hours remain the same?

Thanks for your post. Leave balances are reduced by the hours paid against the wage pay items selected in the leave pay item>>Link wage pay item. For the annual leave balance to be reduced by Unused annual leave, go to Pay items>>Leave tab>>open the annual leave accrual pay item and select the Unused annual leave wage pay item:

To fix the employee's leave balance now you can process an adjustment pay. The Help Article, Managing your employees' leave, has instructions for that adjustment pay.
