Payroll Pay Item Unable to Change

I am unable to change the rate on one pay item, all other pay items allow and I can change successfully. I only get this error banner displayed no narration.

I found this on an How To Change pay item instruction, but doesn't mention what can't be changed

• If a pay item has been used, there are some details you won't be able to change

But no explanation as to why I can't change this particular item. 

Please help.

Hi Cel,

It's three pay items at this stage, I originally set up in my file, Base, x1.5 and x2.  I have many other pay items but have only tested three others which are commonly used and can change them no problem.

I have just now tested a couple of others and the same this is happening.

What other information do you need?
