STP Payroll Errors

I'm updating employee information to setup STP but when I try updating the income type, I'm getting a blank error message which doesn't allow me to save the information.

This employee is inactive and I'm trying to tick inactive and putting termination date but I still get the blank error message and won't allow me to save. How do I fix this error?

Re: STP Payroll Errors

Hi @kthln

Thank you for your post. I'd like to extend you a warm welcome to the Community Forum. I hope you find it a valuable resource.

The first thing I would recommend to work out on this is to clear your browser cache, log out and log back in or try in a different browser. If the employee is inactive, you'll need to activate the employee first, go to payroll >> employee >> select employee to open contact details and untick the inactive employees.

After activating the employee go to STP reporting and select get started to update your payroll information. Once moving to STP phase 2 is done you can now enter the termination date for the employee.

Please feel free to post again I'm happy to assist.

Re: STP Payroll Errors

Hi Princess,

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately the solution recommended didn't work.

The employee is still active so it's not the issue. I cleared my cache and it still won't allow me to save the income type. I've raised this as an issue to the MYOB support and was told that they need to fix this from the back-end.

Hi @kthln

Thank you for letting me know. To look into your issue and to have an update, were you been provided with any case number/ ticket number from our support?

Cheers,
