Essentials Upgrade has a lot of problems

Are there any plans to address the numerous issues? This forum is now about 3 months old and nothing has changed. It clearly seems like MYOB doesn't really care about it's customers.

Does MYOB and especially it's programming team really think that it's acceptable to launch a product that is clearly still in Alpha?

Hi Everyone

Thank you for your sharing your thoughts and feedback on the newer MYOB Essentials platform.

The Newer MYOB Essentials platform was designed from the ground up and offers different functions and features than the Original MYOB Essentials platform. As such, workflows and processes may be different than the Original. 

Here at MYOB, we are continuing to invest in the MYOB Business platform with regular development work being completed on that platform (typically updates are made fortnightly).  For example, in the last  few months, we have included the following major ticket items:

• An inventory module, allowing customers to buy, sell and inventory their items
• Pre-defined salary and hourly pay items for new businesses
• Ability to set notes to customers - a feature that was included due to high demand from Original MYOB Essentials users.

This is, in addition, to numerous other known issue corrections and minor enhancements.

If users are after a specific feature of their MYOB Business platform then we do recommend putting it as an Idea on the Idea Exchange. This will help gauge demand numbers for that particular feature so we can clearly attribute the number of customers for that idea.
