Bulk Account Change

Hi Everyone, Hoping to get some help here

I've been using Essentials for a while now. However my accountant tells me i need to change all of my Invoices, Items and Purchases, You See i've been using the inventory account to track purchases and sales 1-1320. However She tells me i need to use 4-2000 for Stock Income Sales and 5-1000 for Stock Purchases.

It would take a vast number of hours to change this manually. Was Hoping there is a way to change them all at once, Even if it was possible on MYOB's End

Thank you for your post. We understand that it could take a lot of time for you to change it manually, however that’s how we can possibly change it to make sure it will not cause any problems for the rest of your account in the future.  To change those accounts your using for your Invoices, Items and Purchases, what we need to do is to manually check it under the Manage Linked Accounts and changed it from there.

To do so, you may go to Accounting tab and choose Manage Linked Account, from there you will see those account you used under Accounts & Banking, Sales, Purchases and Payroll. We also recommend seeking an assistant of your Accountant while doing it as she was the one who requested you to change it.
