Can someone please help, very frustrated!!! Trying to do a very simple task to update a customer (not employee) contact details and continue to receive the error message: “one or more fields exceed the maximum character limit”. There is no indication which field is the problem. I have gone to the extent of deleting and re-entering all fields without any success. The Notes field has no characters in it.
I have contacted MYOB phone support last week and after being on the phone for over an hour no solution. The MYOB support team member was to review and get back to me. Still waiting on return call.

Sorry to hear your call to our support team didn't solve this problem.
Unfortunately the error message doesn't indicate which specific field is causing the problem, this is something that has been raised with our teams for improvement. I would recommend reduce or remove the characters in each field at a time then save the contact so you can identify which field has too many characters. The most common cause is the Notes field, another common one would be the contact name field.
