Thank you for the details and screenshot.
We've received other reports of this problem - when historical purchases are recorded in MYOB Business, some time this error occurs but the transaction would still be recorded, and the GST report will pick up the GST component on the transaction to the income side rather to the expected purchase side.
This has been raised to our developer teams, who are currently investigating this matter. I'm afraid that currently there is no workaround available, I do apologies for the inconvenience caused and greatly appreciate your patience while our teams work it out.

Hi I've just purchased the Myob Business and this is also happening to me but no error message, screen just goes blank and nothing is getting recorded. Very frustrating considering it's hte first historical purchase I'm trying to enter.
