How to identify the Out of Balance from Account Receivable

Hi

I am struggling to identify what caused the out of balance from Account Receivable on Balance Sheet.

I already have asked to the officer from live chat but he just said check each transactions.

The total Receivable (as at 30/06/2022) is $2,021,762.22 but the receivables account total (as at 30/06/2022) is $2,027.733.35. So have -$5,971.13 of out of balance but want to check where it came from.

Does anyone know how and where to check this???

Thank you

Hi @611534601067

Go back in time (say 1 July 2021) and see it it balanced then. Advance one month at a time until you see the out of balance - investigate transactions during that period.

Re: How to identify the Out of Balance from Account Receivable

Thanks Gavin

I have tried to check the Aged Recevables (Detail) from the desktop version as online didn't have that part, but it didn't show me the time period I selected (Say I selected 1 July 2021, but it still shows from 31/12/2022).

Do you know how to properly set and check this??

Re: How to identify the Out of Balance from Account Receivable

Hi @611534601067

I recommend you use the Receivables Reconciliation Summary Report - this gives you an 'as at' balance to check the Sales Register and the account balance.
