MYOB Essentials - Why can't I link an existing bill to a closed invoice.

Hi MYOB,

 

Product:  MYOB Business Essentials 

 

I paid an invoice last week and sent the invoice to the MYOB Intray.

The invoice is sitting in the intray and I try and link it to a previous closed bill.  

I select the bill and click LINK bill I get a message to say its successful and yet the bill is still sitting in the intray and appearing unlinked.  

Yes I have refreshed my screen.

 

Is there bugs with the In-Tray in this version?

Hi Renae

 

In tray documents not linking to existing bills is being investigated by the devs. I understand it's not ideal, but in the meantime you can delete the bill then create a new bill using the In tray document by clicking the ellipsis button at the end of the document line and choose Create bill.

 

Having said that, I just tested this and got a Network request failed error. I refreshed the bill page which opened the link in tray document window. I clicked on Save which successfully linked the document, so that might be worth a try before deleting the bill.

Hi @Tracey_H hope this gets fixed. Meantime I will just continue using ARL as I have no issues in this platform.
