G'day Lara,

 

You can no longer search by first name or last name in anything or any field.

 

You will see screenshot in this feed above.

 

Hope that makes sense?

 

Still can not do any search..only company name and THAT IS IT..and not even all of them. I have like 30 Contacts in my database...and only the first 10-12 "company" names come up..but zero reference to the person attached to the relevant company name.

It's unknown how this can be difficult for MYOB - I also want additional fields in the address - if I enter a new card online it seems I can only add one address line and it would be nice to add a department to attention or the name of the building the company is in....  (scratch my head)

I have the same issue and wasting a lot of time trying to decide which email variable is now going to suit all.  Also lost at least one supplier from the contact list. Where is it and what's happened to all the payments i have made to this supplier??

 

Also, can't change the contact for an invoice that is generated from a quote.  This is important when you have quotes department and accounts department. two separate contacts. Very frustrating.

update has altered contact list

Since the update, the contact list now display businesses who are sole traders  under the contact persons name instead of their business name?  They're not a company but have to to tick this box otherwise you can't find they're business name.

 

Myob needs to recognise sole traders business names not just company names and individuals. I have been on the hold with Myob for nearly an hour and in the meantime have drilled into reports to find the historical payments to this sole trader which is now listed under the bookkeepers name.

 

I didn't think there was too much wrong with Myob before the update

One of the other issues is when converting a quote to an invoice, you can't change the contact person.  Quite often within a business, the person who are sent quotes to is different to the person in an accounts department.  We are now having to create a new invoice based on the quote (retyping) instead of converting. Very time consuming and clumsy.  Also, the quote number should not look like an invoice number. That is confusing too. Preferred the separate number  sequencing for quotes and invoices.
