Writing off bad debt - no "Create customer returns" options

I'm trying to write off $0.02 that was underpaid on an invoice. I'm using MYOB Essentials.

The help article here:

Says 

1. On the Sales menu, click Create customer return.

But this option does not exist for me. 

Looking at this recent thread https://community.myob.com/t5/MYOB-Essentials-Accounting-MYOB/Processing-a-customer-refund-and-writi... the moderator says "The newer Essentials platform doesn't have the Create customer return option"

So it would appear that the help article has not been updated to reflect this change to software. Could some helpful staff member please explain the new process, and arrange for the help file to be updated?

Hello @HughBooks 

The Help Article you were looking at was for the older version of the software as you had realised, we do have an updated one on Writing off bad debts which will step you through the correct process for your software.

Please let us know how you go with that.
