Hi all,

 

Here at MYOB Support it’s been our busiest week of the year. We’ve answered around 10,000 calls, over 1500 LiveChats and over 500 Community Forum posts.

 

We trained 60 new team members in support in the lead-up to this busy end of financial year period, but we understand that sometimes clients this week have had to wait a long time for help over the phone or on LiveChat. We’re sorry if we haven’t been able to assist you this week as promptly as we would like to.

 

As Adrian explains in the video below, because of the significant demand for assistance we do encourage you to first check out all our self-help resources such as Support Notes and our comprehensive EOFY support centre as we’re sure they have almost everything you need.

 

 

The EOFY support centre includes step-by-step assistance to take you through your end of financial year process. There's also details about obtaining the compliance update for your software, information about this year's tax changes, helpful videos and other training resources. You can also print out our handy End of Financial Year 2014 Guide and our End of Payroll Year 2014 Guide.

 

Of course before you call we also encourage you to post here on the Community Forum before you call or try LiveChat. The average response time this week on the Community Forum was eight hours, but hundreds of posts were answered within minutes by our Support team, our experienced Partners and other helpful Community members.

 

The 2014 Compliance update was released for both our classic and new AccountRight platforms on Monday, as well as AccountEdge for our Mac users. In the video below, Ash explains why the compliance update is important and how you can obtain it.

 

 

The compliance update for the new AccountRight - 2014.3 – also includes a fantastic time-saving feature we call ABN lookup. It helps ensure you are dealing with legitimate businesses by automatically checking the ABN for your suppliers. Krystal explains more in the video below.

 

 

As mentioned above, it’s been an incredibly busy week on the Community Forum and we’ve set a new record for posts and members. Over 1400 posts have been made, including over 500 from MYOB staff. We also welcomed over 570 new members. It’s fantastic to have you all on board.
